 2004 – today: Housing Development & Management, Lund  University, Sweden 2011 – PhD student

Lecturer and tutor, at post graduate level and in undergraduate training in Sweden.


Project assistant, for PROMESHA (Programa para el Mejoramiento Socio Habitacional), a Sida supported capacity building program in urban and housing development for Latin America. Responsible for quality management of regional and national capacity building activities. Coordinator for Bolivia and Ecuador, two of the seven focus countries of the program; lecturer at the national activities in there countries.
Have planned, conducted and coordinated several missions of capacity building activities in Latin America with different NGOs, central and local governments as well as local universities.
Editor for the PROMESHA´s working paper serie, Cuaderno de Análisis.


In Bolivia:

  • Planned, implemented and evaluated two housing policy seminars in La Paz, July 2006, and in Sucre, November 2007.

In Ecuador:

  • Planned, implemented and evaluated three workshops on sustainable human settlements for the poor, in Guayaquil, in October 2006, 2007 and 2009, with the support of the municipality, town planning department and different NGOs, local governments and local and European universities.
  • Planned, implemented and evaluated two housing policy seminars in Quito and Guayaquil August 2007.
  • Jury member for the Biennale: Bienal Panamericana de Arquitectura de Quito, 2008 in the categories "Habitat social y Desarrollo" and "Medalla de Oro", the first category financed by the PROMESHA programme.

Project assistant at Housing Development & Management, for the advanced international trainning programmes  Conservation & Management of Historic Buildings,  Shelter Design and Development; and Harmonious Urbanization Development, all of them capacity building programmes supported by Sida. Coordinating, implementing and in some cases tutoring activities.

  • Conservation & Management of Historic Buildings:
    Team work, planning and implementing of two regional continuation courses, one in Quito, Ecuador 2005, and one in Santiago and Valparaiso, Chile 2008.
  • Shelther Design and Development:
    Team work, implementing and tutoring  the regional continuation course in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 2008.  
  • Harmonious Urbanization Development:
    Team work, implementing and tutoring at the course held in Nanjing, China, on November 2008.

Exhibitions Designer of the HDM department exhibition for the World Urban Forum 4, Nanjing 2008. 

2002 – 2004 Architect office: Landskronagruppen AB, Sweden

Responsible at Landskronagruppen AB, for organizing the design process of an industrialized housing project in Malmö. Responsible for coordinating with the sub-consultants (Tyréns AB, Malmö; WSP, Lund; Bengt Dahlgren AB, Landskrona) and responsible for the quality control of drawings and documents delivered to the housing manufacturer Open House Productions AB.

1997 – 2002 Architect office: Philip Rasmussen Rådgivende Arkitekter, Denmark

Co-designer at Philip Rasmussen Rådgivende Arkitekter, private office Denmark for several projects: town planning, renovation in inner city areas, regional tourism development and design of roads, including bicycle road systems and road projects in coordination with the Danish road ministry.
